Privacy Policy

Last updated June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Motionary Inc. (“Motionary,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Motionary — our marketplace for premium React Native animations and interactions — and related services. By using Motionary, you agree to the practices described here.

01 Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account through Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from that provider. If you list, buy, or sell on Motionary, we collect the details you submit — listing titles and descriptions, the animation files and previews you upload, and the contents of any messages or support requests you send us.

Payment and payout information. Payments and seller payouts are handled by Stripe. When you buy or sell, Stripe collects and processes your payment or banking details directly; we receive only limited transaction metadata (such as amount, currency, status, and the last four digits of a card). We never see or store your full card number.

Information we collect automatically. When you use Motionary, we and our providers automatically collect log and usage data — your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps — to operate, secure, and improve the service.

02 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • operate the marketplace — process orders, deliver purchased assets, and enable payouts to sellers;
  • provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • send service and transactional messages such as receipts, security alerts, and important changes;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • analyze usage to maintain and improve Motionary;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

03 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run Motionary. In particular, we store your authenticated session in a secure, httpOnly cookie so you stay signed in; without it, core features such as your account, cart, and checkout will not work. Because these cookies are essential to the service you request, they are set when you use Motionary.

04 How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below:

  • Payment processing. With Stripe, to process purchases, onboard sellers (Stripe Connect), and send payouts.
  • Hosting and storage. With cloud infrastructure providers, including Google Cloud Storage, which hosts uploaded animation files and previews.
  • Authentication providers. With Google and GitHub, when you choose to sign in through them.
  • Other users. Public parts of your profile and listings — such as your display name, avatar, and the items you publish — are visible to other users by design.
  • Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf (for example analytics, email delivery, or customer support), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Motionary, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

05 Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward only as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Note that transaction and tax records may need to be retained for several years under applicable law.

06 Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR; California residents have analogous rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings, and you can manage cookies through your browser — though disabling essential cookies will break core functionality.

07 Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information — including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and authenticated sessions stored server-side. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

08 International Data Transfers

Motionary operates globally and may process and store your information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers maintain facilities. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using Motionary, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

09 Children’s Privacy

Motionary is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Motionary after the changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.

12 Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact Motionary Inc. at [email protected]. We are based in Istanbul, Türkiye.
